About me:

Hello!  Kumusta po!  Que tal!

I’m a chiropractor.  I graduated in 2007 from SCUHS (Southern California University of Health Sciences).  I have been licensed (DC31965) as a chiropractor in California since 2011.  I rely heavily on the utilization of MRI and X-rays, and work closely with neurosurgeons in the management of cases.

I specialize in the management of personal injury cases that involve neck and back pain. I have extensive education and training in the medico-legal aspect in the management of these cases.  Please see my curriculum vitae.

Before working as a chiropractor, I spent 16 years working as a respiratory therapist in many hospital Emergency Rooms and Intensive Care Units (adult and neonatal).  The last hospital I worked in was at White Memorial Hospital in East Los Angeles.

I served 6 years as a hospital corpsman in the US Navy from 1992 to 1998, and was attached with the Marines in Pendleton, CA.

I was born in the Philippines and came to the US at a very young age.  I speak Tagalog fluently, and understand Pampangueno very well.

My wife is Mexican, and I speak Spanish fluently with great ease.

Not by design, but most of the patients who find me are Filipinos and Hispanics.  Apart from speaking the same language, I feel that they find a “family member” in me when they come for care.

I approach each case with a multi-disciplinary involvement of medical physicians and neuro/ortho surgeons.  My documentation of reports, treatments, and examination are designed to withstand cross-examination in court, if needed.
